DISE Members Receiving Awards

Dr. Sherice Nelson and Dr. Sharon Wright-Austin received awards at this year’s National Conference of Black Political Scientists.

This year’s NCOBPS convention was held from March 8th to March 11th, where Dr. Nelson was awarded the Anna Julia Cooper Teacher of the Year Award, and Dr. Wright-Austin received the Fannie Lou Hamer award for Outstanding Community Service.
