Dr. Ebun Joseph Attends Rally Marking the One Year Anniversary of the Dublin Riots
On Saturday November 23rd in front of the Larkin Statue on O'Connel street in Dublin, Ireland, the Irish Congress of Trade Unions organized The Rally for Unity and Hope. This event coincided with the one year anniversary of the Dublin Riots.
The Irish Congress of Trade Unions works to give voice to Irish communities and workers with foreign citizenship, and push for solutions to the challenges they face. They “believe that everyone deserves to feel safe in their place of work and their communities, no matter where they were born or the colour of their skin." (Hotpress).
As Director Institute of Antiracism and Black Studies, Dr Ebun Joseph attended this rally to spread the message that there should be zero tolerance for racism in Ireland.
