DISE in Florida
Dr. Caroline Shenaz Hossein will be travelling to Gainsville Florida to meet up with fellow DISE Collective member Dr. Sharon Wright Austin. March 8th until March 12th will consist of DISE planning meets, bookended by two events.
Together Hossein and Wright Austin will participate at the International Women’s Day Collegiate Summit on March 8th, where Dr. Hossein will be bolstering Dr. Wright Austin’s voice while she speaks on issues of inclusion.
On March 11th Hossein and Wright Austin will hold a lecture on their co-authored book Beyond Racial Capitalism: Co-operatives in the African Diaspora (2023).
