Dr. Christabell PJ Appointed Head of Economics

DISE Collective member Dr. Christabell PJ has been appointed Head of the Department of Economics at The University of Kerala, India. We believe having a feminist economist at the helm of a university department is significant towards the goals of increased intersectionality and inclusiveness of important issues of gender, informal institutions, and microfinance.

Fellow DISE Member and colleague Dr Caroline Shenaz Hossein was present to congratulate her.
