2026 Worlding Feminist Economics Symposium

The 1st ever academic gathering devoted to mutual aid financing coops called #ROSCA and #Susu will be held at U of T on April 30th and May 1st from 9am to 4pm. A curated group of scholars, community leaders and artists will come together to discuss the role of art and policy in recognizing the value of informal money coops.

The DISE Collective members: Professors Haddy Njie, Ati Astari, Sharon Austin and Caroline Shenaz Hossein will be engaging with activists and artists on the topic of ROSCAs.
