The DISE at the WOC Symposium in Boston

In September, DISE members attended the WOC Political Science Symposium in Boston.

We can confirm after many panels that backlash against women of colour is deeply ingrained in the academe. And we are figuring out how to support one another, more than ever before.

Organizer of the WOC Symposium part of #APSA was Prof Sharon Austin of the University of Florida.

Other DISE members included Prof Caroline Hossein of U of T and Dr. Patricia Campos Medina of Cornell University.
