Women Leaders of Organizations Meet to Discuss Entrepreneurship.

On Thursday July 25th, twenty-one women leading the future development of women’s entrepreneurship came together at Coralus House.

Each one leaders of organizations, they came to meet, connect, and discuss alternative systems in which modern businesses can thrive. Dr. Caroline Hossein’s book The Banker Ladies: Vanguards of Solidarity Economics and Community-Based Banks set the topic of how to bridge the divide between feminism and women-led cooperatives.

“Both movements are interested in finding new kinds of alternative economies. Both can help us reimagine what a ROSCA can look like. We can also work to help  validate and decriminalize ROSCAs as a socially beneficial, transformative way of flowing capital."
