DISE Featured in UTSC 2024 Annual Report

The DISE Collective has been featured in the University of Toronto - Scarborough Campus’s Community Partnerships & Engagement’s 2024 Annual Report.

On page 24 of the online interactive flipbook, The DISE Collective is highlighted for bolstering The Banker Ladies Council’s Rotating Savings and Credit Association (ROSCA) Network. This ROSCA draws from cooperative economic models found in many immigrant communities that rely on trust, reciprocity, and shared accountability.

UTSC’s Department of Community Partnerships and Engagement aims to improve access for communities facing systemic barriers, build meaningful relationships with the community, and co-create opportunities for collective knowledge and resource sharing. They work to ensure each partnership is reciprocal, expansive, and has the betterment of society as its foundation.
